Isaura joined WAGES in May 2013 through AmeriCorps VISTA, a national service program designed to strengthen communities and fight poverty in America. As WAGES' Evaluation Associate, Isaura will work to increase the impact of our programs across the Bay Area and beyond.

Isaura earned her bachelor's degree in American Studies from Stanford University in 2010. As an undergraduate, she was an active member of El Centro Chicano, helping plan and organize events for the entire Stanford community. After graduation she worked at her father's small business in Pomona, CA, gaining a greater appreciation of the role small business can play in creating financial self-reliance for underrepresented communities. She is excited about applying her experience in small business to working at WAGES and is happy to work for an organization that is empowering women through economic opportunity.
